OEM Manufacturing

OEM Embroidered & Hand-Woven Bag Manufacturing

TelvaBag is an OEM bag manufacturer in Dongguan, China. Send a tech pack, CAD file or physical master sample and our atelier produces to your millimetre tolerances, stitch densities and fibre compositions — from 50 pieces, with a sealed sample in 10 business days and every export carton inspected to AQL 1.5.

Brands comparing a custom bag manufacturer usually weigh three things: whether the factory can read a tech pack, whether the sample is signable, and whether the price holds at volume. This programme covers all three, and it is the entry point to the rest of the atelier.

What you send us

OEM works best when the specification is unambiguous. These four assets are enough for us to quote and schedule sampling the same week.

01
Tech pack or CAD
Dimension sheet, construction notes and material callouts. PDF, AI, DXF or a hand sketch with measurements all work.
02
Master sample
A physical bag we can open up and reverse-engineer. We return it intact with the first prototype.
03
Artwork & logo
Vector artwork for embroidery digitising, plus logo placement and colour references (Pantone TCX/TPX preferred).
04
Quantity & market
Target order volume, destination country and any compliance requirements your retailer imposes.

How OEM production runs

  1. Feasibility & quotation (24 h) — we review construction, flag risks such as seam distortion on mixed materials, and return a tiered quotation.
  2. Digitising & sampling (10 business days) — embroidery files are digitised, fabric is pre-shrunk, and a sealed physical sample ships by DHL Express.
  3. Golden Sample approval — you sign off the sealed specimen in writing. That exact sample becomes the binding benchmark for every later unit.
  4. Bulk production & inspection — production follows the approved sample, with in-line checks and a final AQL 1.5 inspection before cartons are sealed.

What we manufacture

  • Hand-embroidered canvas totes, pouches, clutches and shoulder bags (Suzani, French tambour beading, cross-stitch, flat embroidery, monogram chain stitch).
  • Hand-woven natural-fibre bags in rattan, bamboo, sea grass, water hyacinth, cotton rope and raffia.
  • Mixed-media bags that combine an embroidered panel with a woven body — our engineering speciality and the hardest construction to source.

Quality and tolerances

  • ±5 mm dimensional tolerance on hand-embroidered and hand-woven work. Machine-cut panels hold tighter tolerances.
  • Quantity over/under run ±3%, invoiced to the actual finished export carton count.
  • AQL 1.5 (ISO 2859-1, Level II) sampling inspection on every export lot.
  • 100% needle detection on finished units before cartons are sealed, so no broken needle reaches your customer.

How an OEM bag programme actually runs

An OEM programme starts with the file, not the fabric. We need your tech pack or a physical master sample, the Pantone references, the label artwork and the target ship window. From those we return a feasibility note, a tiered quotation and a sampling slot inside one business day.

Once the sample is signed, the pattern is locked and the order moves to the artisan station. Nothing about the construction changes between the sealed sample and the bulk run: the same stitch density, the same interlining, the same AQL 1.5 inspection. That is what makes a re-order predictable rather than a fresh gamble.

Quick Answers: MOQ, Sampling & Lead Times

Short, self-contained answers to the questions buyers ask most about this programme.

Do you accept a physical sample instead of a tech pack?
Yes, and it is a common way for OEM briefs to arrive. Send a competitor bag or a previous-season style you want matched; we measure it, write the tech pack and return the drawing set together with the quotation.
Who owns the pattern and the embroidery file?
You do, from the moment the order is placed. The pattern file, the digitised embroidery programme and the graded size set stay exclusive to your brand, and the NDA signed before sampling already covers the drawings you sent us.
What is the smallest OEM order you will run?
50 pieces per design, and colourways can be mixed inside that 50. It is a real production run on the same line, with the same sample approval and the same inspection standard as a five-thousand-piece order.

Production & Customization FAQ

What is your OEM MOQ?

Standard OEM MOQ is 50 pieces per design, mixable across colourways of the same silhouette. Smaller trial runs can be discussed for first-time buyers.

Do you sign an NDA before I share my designs?

Yes. We execute a mutual bilingual NDA before any tech pack is opened, and your moulds and embroidery files stay quarantined to your production runs.

Can you match a sample I already have?

Yes. Send the physical sample and we will reverse-engineer the construction, then return it intact with our first prototype and a materials report.

Which payment and shipping terms do you accept?

30% deposit with balance against the pre-shipment inspection report. FOB Shenzhen or Guangzhou by default, or DDP door-to-door with duties prepaid.
